A BAR type phone - L700 - was recently launched by Samsung Electronics Co Ltd.The phone is a combo of style and features. With the launch of L700, Samsung claims to raise the standard for bar type handsets available in the market.

L700 is beautifully designed and is built keeping in mind the perfect comfort and ultimate convenience of users. It is yet another dazzling metal body handset, embellished with the company’s hairline pattern. The ergonomic keypad allows its users to dial and navigate with ease. This user friendly phone has a 2.1 inch display for enjoying one’s favourite media and entertainment files.

The Samsung L700 includes 3G (WEDGE) network, which enables wider access, making it easy for users to hold a video conversation and gain a much faster access to media. It is equipped with a two mega pixel camera with flash Light Emitting Diode (LED), high speed internet browser, office document viewer and bluetooth along with other various entertainment features.

Geesung Choi, president of Samsung’s Telecom Business said that the launch of L700 will reinforce Samsung’s established leadership in developing a stylish, full featured mobile phone across a variety of form factors, which includes the slider, clamshell and bar.

The eastern Europe markets will see the launch of this beauty in July and later on the mobile is slated to hit the markets of Europe, Middle East, Southwest and Southeast Asia.

Price of the handset is yet to be announced.
