You'll have to excuse my 'meh' about Motorola's latest launch. Fresh from my disastrous time with the Z10 movie phone, I'm hesitant to declare this a workable handset.

What it does have is ModeShift, which has the buttons changing their icons according to what feature you're in. In theory, that should mean music controls that are easy to manage, and a standard phone interface for when you just want to call.

When the phone is off, no buttons are visible at all - when it's on they change according to the context. It's the first Motorola phone to feature haptic feedback, and comes with 2GB of internal storage (expandable by up to 2GB).

Music-wise there's a 3.5mm headphone jack, and it uses Windows Mobile 11, so you can just drag and drop tracks onto the phone. There's also an airplane mode so you can use it as a standalone media player.
